I’m Laura Reneau, founder of

Golden Age Yoga and Wellness.

My mission is to help you become a stronger, more resilient vessel for life’s energy to flow effortlessly, supporting you through every step of your journey.

I've lived for 76 years and I KNOW the importance of staying strong, flexible, and able to balance well and stay safe.

As an elder myself I am able to offer guidance you can trust!

Why Golden Age Yoga & Wellness?

Golden Age Yoga offers deeply thoughtful, hour-and-a-half classes each week, where breath, awareness, and clear alignment come together in a gentle yet empowering practice.

 

With decades of experience, Laura guides each session with careful instruction, biomechanical understanding, and a heart-centered presence. Her teaching has evolved through many years of dedicated practice, now emphasizing ease over striving, and cultivating the art of listening—truly listening—to one’s body.

 

In every class, you are invited to move in a way that nourishes balance, stability, strength, and resilience. Alongside traditional asana, Laura incorporates resistance bands, small weights, and functional movement principles to support healthy aging and whole-body vitality.

 

Her ongoing education in aging and wellness ensures you receive practices grounded in the latest research, tailored with care for real bodies in real life.

Whether you are new to yoga or have been practicing for many years, Golden Age Yoga offers a space to deepen your awareness, reconnect with yourself, and move with confidence and joy.

 

Golden Age Yoga is especially supportive for seniors and those in their Wisdom Years, as well as anyone seeking a vibrant, mindful, and gentle approach to yoga.

 

Each class closes with time to connect—in conversation, in warmth, and in community—with Laura and fellow practitioners in our loving Golden Age Sangha.
